Selling online in Morocco, made simple
An online store lets you sell around the clock, anywhere in Morocco, without depending only on a physical shop or on social media. IT LABS PRO builds complete e-commerce websites: a clear catalogue, a cart and checkout that are easy to use on a phone, and a back office to manage your products, orders and stock every day.
What your online store includes
- Catalogue and product pages: photos, descriptions, variants (sizes, colours), prices and promotions;
- Cart and checkout in a few steps, designed for smartphones first;
- Card payment and/or cash on delivery;
- Order and stock management, with e-mail notifications to the customer and to your team;
- Customer account: order history, addresses, tracking;
- SEO basics: product and category pages optimised for Google;
- Several languages if needed (French, Arabic, English).
Online payment in Morocco: CMI and cash on delivery
In Morocco, online card payments usually go through the CMI (Centre Monétique Interbancaire), which accepts Moroccan and international cards. You open the online payment contract with your bank; we then integrate the payment gateway into your store. Note that some international payment platforms popular elsewhere are not available to businesses based in Morocco, so the payment set-up is planned from the start.
Cash on delivery remains very popular with Moroccan shoppers: offering both options reassures your customers and increases sales. We can also connect your store to your carriers’ tools for shipment tracking.
Delivery, personal data and trust
Delivery costs and areas, terms and conditions, returns policy: this information must be clear before purchase. Your customers’ personal data is protected by Moroccan law 09-08, overseen by the CNDP (the national data protection commission), so check the formalities that apply to your store. A secure website (HTTPS), visible contact details and customer reviews all build trust.
